晩，英語教室。
National stereotypesというお題で，国別の人のイメージの話。
ブラジルの人が高評価だった。
礼儀正しく，異文化に興味があり，フレンドリー。

Jokeにこういうのがあるという紹介があった。
"Heaven is where the police are British,
the cooks are French, the mechanics are German,
the lovers are Italian and it's all organized by the Swiss.
Hell is where the police are German,
the cooks are English, the mechanics are French,
the lovers are Swiss, and it's all organized by the Italians."

クリスマスから読み始めたレディー・ジョーカー，やっと読了。
なぜジュンク堂店員さんが，クリスマスにお勧めの本としていたかが
最後の最後にわかった。
